DOCTRINE OF THE MISSING LINK

A.  There is a relationship between escrow blessing for time and escrow blessing in eternity. The link between the two is dying grace.

B.  The link between maturity in phase two of God’s plan and the rewards of phase three is dying grace.

C.  Dying grace bridges the gap between escrow blessings in time and escrow blessings in eternity. Heaven is not the motivator to be occupied with Christ. You must be motivated by the Bible doctrine resident in your soul to live each day, one at a time, in occupation with Christ.

D.  This is the principle of going “from grace to grace” in Rom 5:20. We go from one abounding grace to an even greater abounding grace.

E.  Abraham’s escrow blessing in time was related to his sexual prosperity, Rom 4:17-21; Heb 11:11-12. The sign of this was circumcision.

F.  Abraham’s escrow blessing in eternity is related to his heavenly city, Heb 11:9-10; Rev 21:2, 10. The sign of this prosperity was his living in a tent.

G.  The principle of dying grace links the two escrow blessings, Heb 11:13.

H.  Therefore, dying grace is the bridge that takes the believer from grace blessings in time to grace blessings in eternity by way of another grace blessing (dying grace).

I.  Escrow blessing for time is the best for time. Dying grace is better. And escrow blessing for eternity is better than the best for all eternity. You can never lose with grace.

J.  This is the driving principle of following the colors to the high ground.

You cannot choose your battlefield God does that for you,

But you can plant the colors, Where the colors never flew.

K.  It is impossible for God not to keep His word. His word is based on His perfect character. He cannot change His word any more than He can change His character. You can be sure that He will keep His word. Therefore, if you learn His doctrine, you will be blessed in time and eternity. Relying on God’s word is called faith-rest.
